Featured Products
Hive bodies are made with commercial grade American pine. Finger jointed boards ensure tight fitting corners to reduce moisture build-up and provide a superior product built to last. Every piece made by hand for the best overall quality with the customer in mind.
A quilt board's main purpose in beekeeping is moisture control and insulation for winter survival, acting as a breathable layer to absorb condensation from warm, moist hive air, preventing it from dripping back onto bees, while also adding insulation to keep the hive warmer in cold climates. They create an airspace with absorbent materials like wood shavings, allowing humidity to escape while keeping the cluster dry and regulating internal temperatures.
Check back here regularly for our featured products being offered. Specials deals on these items are sure to make you smile.
These NUC’s are bred from our very own stock right here at The Bee Shack. We offer limited amounts of these each season. Reserve yours while they are available. PICK-UP DATE APRIL 25th, 2026.
Focused Classes
These classes are designed with you in mind. With only 2-3 individuals at a time, these classes allow you to get in close and personal with the hive and really work on honing in those skills and techniques.
*Don’t see the class your looking for? No worries. Just reach out and request it. We will be happy to add additional topics.
This class will focus on why we do splits, how to be successful with splits, and the many ways they can be beneficial to you.
Identifying and treating all the pest out there related to beekeeping can be overwhelming. This class is designed to narrow the focus of the do’s and don’ts, and help you to understand the importance of proper pest control.
When to use it. When not to use it. How does it affect the hive and how to be more intentional about your feeding.
Fill out the form below after purchasing the class you would like, or leave us some feedback and tell us how we can help you.
